Roadworks Start On A23

A much needed multi million pound widening project kicks off today on the A23.



Commuters travelling between London and Brighton are facing 2 years of possible delays as just 2 lanes will be open in either direction during rush hour with a 40 mph speed limit in place between Handcross and Warninglid.

The whole opeartion is expected to take 2 years at a cost of £77million.
