A23 Roadworks Affecting Business

22 August 2012

A Slaugham pub say they've lost around 60 percent of their lunchtime trade because of the nearby roadworks.

Staff at The Chequers says business is picking up and that they are open despite a small diversion to get to the village because of the works on the A23.

The Highways Agency say they're working with West Sussex County Council on signs in the area, both temporary and permenant.
